Sarah Senior - Chair
Sarah Senior serves as the Chair on the Station Arts Centre Board of Directors. She is a storyteller, having worked across various mediums including film, TV, animation, documentary, and podcasting. With a successful production company spanning two decades, Sarah has garnered numerous national and international awards for her creative endeavours. As an immigrant and proud Canadian, she transitioned from Toronto to Tillsonburg, initially joining the Station as a member before assuming leadership roles on the Board.
Beyond her contributions to the arts, Sarah co-founded GoodPud, a Tillsonburg-based dessert company known for its decadent single-serving treats available at their store and retailers province-wide.
Sarah believes that any strong community needs access to a vibrant, inclusive and diverse arts scene promoting innovation, creativity and empathy. A place where young and old can experience and celebrate the arts in any form.
Mark Renaud - vice Chair
Mark Renaud is an active member of the community, serving on the board of directors at The Station Arts Centre, as vice chair and contributing to various town committees, including the Turtlefest committee. Professionally, he holds the position of Executive Director at The Tillsonburg BIA.


Allison Biggar - Treasurer
Allison Biggar serves on the board of directors in the role of treasurer, where she diligently oversees the Station's bookkeeping and reporting to the board, as well as liaising as the auditor. Professionally she works as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified General Accountant (CGA). Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys immersing herself in literature, exploring the great outdoors, and continually expanding her knowledge through learning new things.
Gale Connor - Secretary
Gale Connor, is a dedicated volunteer and Director on the Board at the Station Arts Centre, where she currently holds the role of secretary. She has been involved with The Station since approximately 1989. With a remarkable tenure of 14 years on the Board, Gale has held diverse positions including Past President and Past Secretary. After a brief hiatus, she has recently returned to the Board, bringing her wealth of experience and passion. Gale's involvement extends beyond the board; she actively participates in various committees such as The Annual Dinner & Auction and Help Portrait. Additionally, she leads the Stationhouse Quilters & Fibre Artists in-house group, showcasing her dedication to both the arts and community engagement. With countless hours devoted to volunteering each year, Gale's commitment to the Station Arts Centre and her love for quilting shine brightly as her passions drive her forward.


Joe McGuire - Director
Joe McGuire serves as a director on the board at The Station Arts Centre. He works professionally at Dynamic Fluid and is also trained as a professional photographer.
Erin Getty - Director
Erin Getty proudly serves as a board member at the Station Arts Center. A dedicated Tillsonburg resident, Erin and her family have long been engaged with The Station, reflecting her deep appreciation for its multifaceted role in the community. Erin states that The Station is not just an art gallery; she explains it's a vibrant hub for learning, a welcoming space for children, a unique shopping destination, a cornerstone of community partnerships, and haven for all. Her passion for supporting local is not exclusive to The Station. She can often be found volunteering at a variety of in town events. Her motto is “be the community you want.” A motto she has instilled in her family as well. She sees the centre as vital to Tillsonburg, embodying principles of accessibility, inclusivity, and support. She warmly encourages interactions with her whenever encountered, emphasising her belief that art nurtures the soul.


Chris AGro - Director
Chris Agro is a dedicated member on the board of directors. He is known for his willingness to always lend a helping hand with enthusiasm. In professional career he works at Ripco. Additionally Chris actively contributes to the Turtlefest committee.
Diane Patenaude - Director
Diane Patenaude is a dedicated member on the board of Directors. She has been involved with the Station Arts Centre since taking on the role of Treasurer in 1992 and held that position for 30 years. She now continues on as a director. Diane founded the Annual Dinner and Auction in 1997 which has been The Station`s major fundraiser for 27 years. She founded the Creative Metal Fest which ran from 2004 to 2006. She continued to be involved with the Down Home Country Christmas event and was very involved with the starting of the Tillsonburg Film Fest which ran from 2002 to 2009. Diane was the Co-ordinator of the Restoration of the Great Western Railway Station in 1999, & the CP Station in 2001. She headed up the moving and restoration of the caboose in 2003 and co-ordinated the installation of 3 Historical Street Lights. The Changing Exhibit Gallery was renamed the Patenaude Family Gallery in her and her family`s honour. With countless hours devoted to volunteering & her love of the Arts Diane continues to support the Station Arts Centre.


Michelle Wegg - Director
Michelle Wegg proudly serves as a board member at the Station Arts Centre. Professionally she works at Tillsonburg Senior Centre as a program coordinator and she is co-owner of Realm Walker Games. She firmly believes that locations need to be created and maintained through conscious effort as safe spaces for 2SLGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent folks. Michelle enjoys gaming and follows a pedagogy of learning through play. She runs kids Dungeons and Dragons weekly with this in mind.
She can be found volunteering with Tillsonburg and Area Optimist Club, Tillsonburg Accessibility Advisory Committee, and Coldest Night of the Year. She is always ready with a helping hand and a friendly smile.
The Station embodies her beliefs about safe spaces, and learning through play. It's a vibrant hub for the community to gather and explore art in a safe and inclusive location for anyone regardless of age, background, or identity.
